Is This Invasion of Privacy!?

I am underage, does that mean my parents can hack into my computer, hack into my myspace, get into my e-mail, delete my e-mail accounts, read my e-mails? or is that invasion of my privacy? i am underage so i was wondering if they have the right to do that or its unlawful or immoral to do? any info, comment, suggestions, tips, would help! thanks!

Legally they can do it, morally, that just depends on the reason they don't trust you. Why are they doing this? Did you get caught doing something? If yes they are probably trying to protect you from whatever this is, or prevent you from doing it again. Most parents have their children's best interest in mind when they do things like this. Also in a world where pedophiles use the net to trap victims it's pretty easy to see why some parents would go to this extreme.

Second, yes, that is a violation of privacy. I don't know about legally, but person to person, it's a complete violation. It shows a lack of respect
