my sisters myspace profile was ruined becuase of some worm.

it says in the heros section that 'raol is you hero not sami' and i know that there was a myspce virus called sami worm. it added itself to ur friends list without your consent and messes up your profile. it also says, 'sami is you hero' it wiered.

so how does it work?

It's not so much a virus/worm as an exploit. I'm clearly not going to tell you how to go about it, but in short, MySpace doesn't verify all user controllable input. That's how the sami hero exploit worked, and probably how this one works too.

Malicious code is introduced to myspace through profiles and the files that the users are allowed to host on MySpace.

Myspace is currently in the process of upgrading security to prevent such attacks.
