Parents hacking myspace/facebook?

i think my parents have somehow been logging into myspace and facebook to look at my profiles. I have some things i dont want them to see on there and they are WAY overprotective. is there a way for them to somehow hack my profiles? if so, how can i prevent it?

u cant prevent it. just make sure u log out every time and change ur password once a month to be sure. good luck!!

log out every time you go on, and change all your passwords. that is, your facebook password, your myspace password, and the email password that your facebook and myspace accounts send it to.

Best case scenario: You forgot to log out one time and they were able to go on.----They don't know password so not a big problesm

Middle case Scenario: They found out your password somehow and are able to go on.----Change your password

Worst case Scanario: They are monitering the computer so that the keystrokes on the computer are recorded and even if the password is changed it is poiintless.-----Use a different computer or something not much really could do here.

Even worse Case Scenario: myspace and facebook are selling information about user's passwords and stuff illegally and under- the-table to buyers ITS ALL A BIG CONSPIRACY I TELL YOU

When you just "X" out of myspace, instead of actually signing out, then next time you or someone goes to the site, you usually dont have to log back in, just click on home...at least that is how mine works. Otherwise they probably have your passwd. Change it to something only you would know, and keep changing it every 2-3 weeks.

That Suxx though, my parents were like that. They used to hide voice activated recorders in my bedroom to be nosey while I was on the phone or had friends over! LOL

If your hiding something that your doing you shouldn't and I was your Dad or Mom I'd want to know too don't engage in

suspicious or illegal activities and they won't snoop on you.

Good for your Parents until your 18 they have every right to know what you are doing online kiddo.

It isn't that difficult buddy. You are the child. They are the parents. You at one time were obviously stupid and forgot to log out. They found out your password in one of the following ways:

1. looked under your keyboard for a sticky note.

2. Restored a previous session you had on THEIR computer.

3. Guessed it.

4. Hacked it.

5. Here is another idea. When you signed up for an account, you entered your FAMILY email address into the email info section. Then, they went on and clicked password recovery and it sent an email right into the comfort on their inbox, which they read, and used. Honestly, it would be even funnier if you clicked password recovery and sent that email.

I'm not going to tell you how to stop this from happening. What do you have to hide anyway?
