How do you know?

Someone either hacked into my MySpace account and deleted my one of my friends or hacked into my friend's account and deleted me.

Both of us were in each other's top friends and both of us had full top friends. On my page instead of the friend, it's been replaced with Tom. On my friend's page where I was it's blank.

Yep, you could have gotten hacked. My advice would be for both of you to change your passwords immediately, and then add each other to your friends lists again. Hopefully that should take care of it. :)

How do you know?

You know if both of you are honest with each other. If not One of you might have "accidentally" deleted the other. And Blamed hacking as the problem. Well Change you pass just to be sure.

Someone that was on both of your friend lists probaly deleted their account.
